About

Independent reporting on the AI industry.

venfeed covers the companies building with artificial intelligence, the money moving through them, the research that changes what practitioners do, and the rules they all have to work inside.

Sections

Startups
Company building at the application layer: what shipped, what shut down, and who paid for it.
Funding
Rounds, terms, secondaries and the people writing the cheques. We publish numbers we can verify.
Big Tech / labs
Frontier labs and the platforms they depend on — compute, talent and release decisions.
Research
Papers and benchmarks that change what practitioners do, read closely rather than summarised.
Policy & regulation
Rules taking effect, the compliance industry forming around them, and who they actually bind.
Enterprise AI
How large organisations buy, deploy and quietly abandon AI systems.
Interviews
Founders, researchers and buyers on the record, at length.
Exclusives
Documents, decks and figures we obtained first.
Tools & products
The developer surface: agents, evals, orchestration and the things engineers install.
Opinion
Argued positions from our reporters, labelled as such.

Standards

Figures are sourced or they are not published

Every number in a story is attributed to a named person, a document we have read, or a filing anyone can check. Where a figure comes from people who would not be named, the story says how many people described it and why they asked not to be identified.

Subjects get a right of reply

Anyone whose conduct or company is characterised in a story is asked for comment before publication, and the story records whether they answered.

Analysis is labelled

Reporting and argued positions run under different flags. Anything carrying an Opinion or Analysis label is the writer's judgement, not a finding.

Advertising is separate from reporting

Sponsors have no sight of stories before publication and no say in what runs. Paid placements are labelled Sponsored wherever they appear.

Corrections

If something we published is wrong, write to corrections@venfeed.com with the headline and the specific claim. Corrections are made on the story itself and noted at the foot of it, with the date and what changed. We do not quietly edit published copy.

Send a tip

Documents, decks and figures are what most of our reporting starts from. Reach the desk at tips@venfeed.com. Reporters list their own contact details on their byline pages, including where they take encrypted messages. Tell us at first contact what you need kept off the record, and do not send anything from a work device or account.
